Easter Party Ideas – Because Children Love A Good Game
The excitement starts building up way before the actual date when young and old get their fair share of the candy loot. Easter Party Ideas are in abundance because when it comes to children, chocolate and fun, you just cannot help but plan a spectacular few hours.
Because children are notorious for not having patience, you could arrange a surprise pre-Easter egg decorating party at your house. Invite some of their class mates and divide them into teams. Not too many children in a team as it can get a bit messy. Get them to decorate hard boiled eggs by painting their favorite cartoon character on an egg or maybe even some farm animals will do the trick.
Give each team a big area to work on and make sure you assist when it comes to gluing pipe cleaners, toilet rolls, cotton wool and scraps of material onto their eggs. The older children will find it amusing and challenging to blow out the egg yolks and to work on hallow eggs. Ask them to use their imagination like maybe decorating theirs with sequined or glitter and beads. They could make their super hero and their favorite rock star.
What you could also do on Easter morning, is have a candy hunt by mapping out a route for each child. Take jelly beans and let them follow the trail to a plastic egg with a word placed into it. Once all the words are collected and they can make up the sentence, then only are they allowed to choose an Easter basket. Children love to play where there are rules. So give them rules of their own. Get them to hunt for a specific color plastic egg or anything you might choose as a marker. Allow the little children to go first and maybe an older child can assist a small one to find his color egg.
Children love boundaries, so give them a color boundary to work from. Hide eggs which are color coded before-hand and get them to search only for their color. Here you could let the little ones go first so the older children will not be disappointed to find toys that are not in their age group. Easter Party Ideas are fun to think out, just put yourself in a child’s shoes and see all the ideas you come up with.
