Tennis Players Swim Few Times A Week To Stay Fit
Even after they retire, many sportsmen still stay fit and healthy and we all wonder how they do that. Always there is a question in our mind, about their food? Are they allowed to drink beer? They must work out a lot everyday. Quite a bit of football players were asked these questions recently and to which most of them answered swimming. I recently purchased swimming pools & automatic pool cleaners because I am not looking forward to cleaning the pool manually.
Few friends of mine are in the journalism business and when there is a big football or tennis tournament they go around and write stuff about the tournament. They asked few questions to tennis players in Wimbledon on their diet and how they keep fit. Most of them recommend swimming in their daily time. They also goto to the gym to increase their strenght but most of the time they swim as it is a full body workout and also improves heart and lung functions.
Other friend mine went to South Africa and interview some football players preparing for the World cup. Yes indeed he was very lucky. He told me the footballers he interviewed said the same thing about swimming. Most of them have swimming pool installed in their property, so they can just enjoy swimming whenever they want. They did tell me that it is absolutely crazy to clean the swimming pool though. They don’t understand all this swimming pool filters and swimming chemicals and that is the reason why they have hired someone to clean their pool every few weeks. Only If I had that sort of money coming in every week, I would be doing the same.
There you are now you know there is nothing special going on in sportsmen life though they do have a healthy eating regime than most of us.
